This weeks featured nonprofit is CJ’s Thumbs up Foundation
We are CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation (CJSTUF) and our mission is to provide assistance to families of children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. We started CJSTUF in 2009 after my daughter, Charlotte Jennie, was diagnosed with a large brain tumor. She passed away on January 7, 2010. We provide $500 Financial Assistance Grants, meals for the families at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond and Ronald McDonald House, and emergency bill-pay up to $300. “Every Day is a Bonus”- Roger Reynolds Director of Programs & Co-Founder
